Hi Friends,
I wanted to share some news that’s a mix of bittersweet and exciting.
I’ve decided to close the doors of Ziyad Salon and relocate as a solo hairdresser to a private studio at 1/10 Langwells Parade in Northcote 3070 from June 2nd 2024.
As I prepare to say goodbye to big salon life, I’m thrilled to share that this is not the end but time for new beginnings.
First and foremost, I want to extend my deepest gratitude to each and every one of you. Your support, loyalty, and friendship have meant the world to me throughout this journey. Running Ziyad Salon has been an absolute joy, thanks to all of you.
Additionally, I’m excited to dive into some new adventures, including exploring the world of food. Life is all about trying new things, right?
While Ziyad Salon may be downsizing, our digital presence will live on. You can still find us on Instagram @ZiyadSalon, and bookings through our website remain unchanged.
And here’s the cherry on top: I’d love for you to join me on my new Instagram journey at @Ifixbadhair. Expect lots of hair tips, tricks, and maybe even a few laughs along the way.
To my dear friends, thank you for being a part of this incredible ride. Your friendship and support have meant more to me than words can express. If you have any questions or just want to chat, don’t hesitate to reach out.

Our Guarantee
At Ziyad Salon we will always perform a thorough consultation prior to your service. If the result doesn’t present as you discussed, Ziyad Salon will rectify it at no extra charge. If you are unhappy with the result by choice, Ziyad Salon will re-work at the usual pricing rates. *conditions apply
Salon Policy
For all bookings a 50% deposit will need to be payed to secure the booking. This deposit will be allocated to your next appointment. If you move your appointment, giving us 24 hours notice, that 50% will go over to your next booking. If you fail to give 24 hours notice, you will lose your deposit.
When booking via phone, you will receive a text with the account details to pay your deposit. Alternatively, if you know what you want, online booking are available via the BOOK ONLINE tab on our website.
As our team are in high demand, we ask you to agree to our terms and conditions prior to making a booking.
We kindly ask that you arrive to the scheduled appointment on time. We allow a maximum of 15 minutes late arrival. If you come later than this, it may impact the desired result. If we will not have enough time to do the service intended, you will lose your deposit.
It is important for our team to have enough time to achieve the desired results. It’s not fair to run into another clients appointment time. We want to make sure we can achieve the best result.
Reminder Service
We offer an SMS reminder service which is sent to you 4 days prior to your appointment. We kindly ask that you confirm ‘Y’ for Yes or cancel with ‘N’ for No and then ring for a new appointment.
Kids Haircuts
We are currently understaffed and there is a shortage of workers in our industry.
Due to this affecting our business, we can no longer provide kids/teenager haircuts at the rates they were. These services would normally take the same amount of time as an adult. We need to do what’s best for the future of Ziyad Salon and thank you for the on going support.
As kids are considered students, they will be eligible for a 10% discount off full services on Tuesday-Thursday only. This Discount is also offered to Pensioners and uni students with a valid student or pensioner card.
